Custom battery cap(need your opinion on safety)

I lost my battery cap years ago and never touched it, so I rigged up something which I doubt is safe, my mod constantly gives battery messages.

So anyway, it’s a piece of foil folded up, folded over where the cap screws on, got the foil touching the metal…
