NBA star Klay Thompson reveals what happened when he got busted for cannabis in college

Klay Thompson was the most recent guest on the ‘All the Smoke‘ podcast and the National Basketball Association (NBA) superstar shared what happened when he got popped for pot back in college.

In 2011, Thompson was starring for Washington State University and leading the team in scoring when he got “rolled for a dime bag.”

“I come home, you know, got a nice little sack on me. I’m like OK, it’s going to be a decent night, might play Rock Band and just chill out and then I see the flashing lights and I’m like no way,” Thompson recalled, adding the stop happened “literally in my driveway.”

The officer said he stopped Thompson for a broken tail light but then began questioning him as he smelled the odour of cannabis.
